I had a dream that I was escaping small clicking crabs on a nonexistent beach and shallow inlay in Woods Hole. Once I got to safety on the dry white sand, I could sing with a clear female voice very much like Reena Bhardwaj in "Mausam."

Every damn bug on Cape Cod is now officially UNINVITED from my room.

You know it's a weird spring when the nights still smell like fall.

Attendance at the Village Green peaked at somewhere around 300. Not bad for a tourist town with around 30,000 winter residents.

So here's something I've noticed. I've been doing a lot of driving on back (read: suburban Cape Cod) roads, most of which have turnoffs that lead into a housing development, generally consisting of single-family homes. This state is really crappy and disorganized compared to California when it comes to distribution of voter information. Though I suppose that makes sense when you consider the entrenched nature of Beacon Hill politics and the fact that we're in the top tier for uncontested elections.
